Package 1
- Introduction and Pick-up at the airport.

Access to their work rota so that they will be thought how to go to work and back through bus and walking routes.

Well being-Welcome by Vinkez staff and day 1- day 7 by the Clinical Psychologist, 6 weeks and 3 months later helping the new nurses manage anxiety and emotions in a new country and work environment when conflict arises.

Familiarisation of local areas/ Environment.

Integration into food access, Shops , city walk, restaurants.

local religious/ belief groups, Local and National cultural groups.

How the system works for gas, electricity, Phones Water, TV license, Council tax, GP and local transport system- road signs and route, GYM integration, Leisure activities including Cinema, tennis, badminton, swimming etc.

Buddy/Shadow principles.
Package 2
Everything from Package 1, plus:
- Professional support.
- Teaching People of English Culture and etiquette- English food and drinks within work environment, sense of humour and communication style, manners, How do you make tea for patients or fellow staff.
- Understanding cultural values while you hold your own, and back up by legislation and no prejudice and how it underpins care settings.
- Respect and Dignity-e.g identity, food, birthday, acknowledgement and importance to your job.
- Remembering peoples/ patients name, anniversaries, religious festivals and preferred name and its value and how it relates to core principles of the job.
- Importance of supporting patients or service user’s religion and helping them meet their cultural festivities/ beliefs while in care.
- Choice of English and colloquial slangs and how it might infringe on service user’s culture- To get the context a patient uses a slang so as not to be offended or take it personal.
- Policies adherence/ basic understanding/not personal/ reenforcing carer’s role and not a registered nurse.
- Looking at how above links to core values of care in the organisation, minimise conflict, complaints, stress for the International nurses and safeguarding issues.
Package 3
Everything from Package 1 & 2, plus:
- English assessment requirement/ ESOL support/ IELTS.
- Initial assessment by ESOL teacher who is part of our faculty.
- Concept of active listening in the face of different regional ascent in UK.
- IT analysis and support- How do they use IT.
Package 4
Everything from Package 1, 2 & 3 plus:
- To support them pass NMC stage 2- Clinical skill.
- OSCE explaining what is involved and approach.
- Managing diseases from nursing perspective and care plan.
- Text books research papers , web link including Gov web sites and legislation underpinning some of the services that is being delivered.
- Any other legal required standard training.
